Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Eligibility

By creating a Lynex account you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree, do not use the platform.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Lynex. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and everything that happens under it. Provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

Do not use Lynex to harass, threaten, or spam other users; impersonate someone else; distribute illegal, infringing, or fraudulent content; scrape or automate access to the platform without permission; or attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, remove violating content, and — where required — report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

4. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post. By posting, you grant Lynex a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content on the platform for the purpose of operating Lynex. You're solely responsible for content you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

5. Marketplace & Services

Lynex is a listing and matching platform, not a marketplace operator. We connect buyers with sellers and clients with service providers, but Lynex is not a party to any transaction, does not process payments, does not hold funds in escrow, and does not verify the identity, legitimacy, or reliability of any listing or user beyond what's described in this section. Payment, delivery, and any exchange of goods or services is arranged entirely between the buyer and seller (or client and provider) — at their own risk.

By creating a listing, you certify that:

• You own the item or service, or are otherwise authorized to sell or offer it.
• The listing is accurate — condition, price, and description reflect the actual item or service.
• The item or service is legal to sell in your location and does not infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights.
• You will honor the listing as described if a buyer or client agrees to purchase or book it.

Prohibited listings. The following may never be listed on Lynex:

• Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or hazardous materials.
• Illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, or regulated substances without required authorization.
• Counterfeit, stolen, or recalled goods.
• Live animals, or animal parts from endangered or protected species.
• Adult content or sexual services.
• Alcohol, tobacco, or vaping products where prohibited by local law or without required licensing.
• Any item or service that is illegal, or that facilitates illegal activity, in the jurisdiction where it's offered.

We may remove any listing, at any time and without notice, that we believe violates these Terms — including on report from another user. Repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension.

In-person and remote transactions.

Where a transaction involves meeting in person, you are solely responsible for your own safety — we recommend meeting in a public place and telling someone where you're going. Where it doesn't (e.g. a remote service), you're responsible for verifying the other party's identity and legitimacy to your own satisfaction before paying or delivering anything.

Disputes about a transaction — non-delivery, item not as described, non-payment, or anything else — are solely between the buyer and seller (or client and provider). Lynex is not responsible for resolving these disputes, and does not guarantee any refund, replacement, or compensation for a transaction gone wrong.

6. Reporting & Enforcement

If you encounter a listing, message, or user that violates these Terms, report it using the in-app reporting tools or by contacting us directly. We review reports and take action we consider appropriate, which may include removing content, warning, suspending, or permanently banning an account — at our discretion.

7. Fees

Lynex is currently free to use, including Marketplace and Services listings. We may introduce fees for certain features in the future; if we do, we'll give you advance notice, and any fee will only apply going forward, never retroactively.

8. Intellectual Property Complaints

If you believe content on Lynex — including a Marketplace listing — infringes your intellectual property rights, contact legal@lynex.ai with a description of the work, the infringing content's location, and your contact information. We will review and remove infringing content where appropriate.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or for any other reason with reasonable notice, except where immediate action is needed to protect the platform or other users.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Lynex is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including as to the accuracy of any listing, profile, or content posted by users. We do not guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lynex is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a transaction, interaction, or dispute between users, including through Marketplace or Services.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lynex harmless from any claim, loss, or damage arising from your use of the platform, your content, your listings, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We'll communicate material changes via email or in-app notice before they take effect.
